It’s Friday, Friday, get it down on Friday. Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend. Partyin? Partyin’. Partyin? Partyin’. Fun, fun, fun, fun, lookin’ forward to the weekend.
Yesterday, was Thursday. Today, it is Friday. We, we, we, so excited. We SO excited. We gonna have a ball today. Tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday… comes afterwards… I don’t want this weekend to eeeeend!
Okay… I’ll stop quoting lyrics from the most artistically crafted song ever written now. Happy Friday everyone.
Although, I always find it hilarious when my wife sings “It’s Friday, Friday, m***f**ing Friday.” She tends to do that when she doesn’t wanna learn the lyrics of a song XD
Today will be a busy day. I’ve got a meeting to get to in 20 minutes, and then afterwards I plan to take a walk around the local college campus to search for a quiet place to sit down, write my book and tutor students in English. The last time I did that, I walked for 2 hours in solitude and silence with nothing to show for it. But that was on the weekend and today is a weekday, so I have a good feeling about this one.
I also am working on writing an e-mail template to send out. The last time I did that I was working for a 500 million revenue company back in the good ‘ole USA. I wrote many e-mail templates back then actually… Starting on this one for myself, I do realize how hard it is to do something for myself when doing it for a company was much easier. I guess I need to start believing in my own clout. That I am my own company. Prager once said something like that… “Each human is like their own universe/galaxy” or it was something close to that…
I agree though. Each unique individual has such an amazing story behind their life. I think that is part of what makes it easy to love us. We all have our own story. Even when we share parts of our story with someone who was there for that part of the story, our unique point of view and being makes each moment for each of us so… unique. How many more times can I say “unique” in this paragraph? The world may never know…
Anywayz, I think part of your task as an artist is to not only tell your story in nicely constructed digestible chunks, but to also pull other people’s true stories out of them. The desire to share, create, and connect comes from the stories and experiences we have as UNIQUE individuals. What a crazy world we live and what a crazy time to be alive, huh?
Well, time for my meeting now. Gotta get this show on the road. May the force be with you all, always.
Until next time, God bless. <3
